CCAA comments on certain statements made during a Government press event of December 22

The CCAA has taken notice of certain expressions of government representatives during a press conference on December 22, 2025 in relation to a number of perceived conflicts in the Flight Information Region Curacao between civil and military aircraft.

Contrary to what was expressed during that event, all recorded incidents will always be investigated. To date, only one such occurrence has been registered and will therefore be investigated. That occurrence relates to a perceived conflict between a JetBlue and a military aircraft. The results will, in accordance with ICAO requirements, be made public on this website in due time.
